\nThe United States Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics released its findings for the Court Reporting profession for 2012. This report breaks down vital information such as Median Pay, Entry-Level Education, Number of Jobs, Job Outlook and other important Court Reporter facts and statistics.\n\nOne of the more relevant statistics released was Median Pay for Court Reporters. Median pay is the wage that half the workers of a specific occupation received less than that amount and half that earned more than that amount. In 2012 the median pay for Court Reporters was listed at $48,160 per year or $23.15 per hour. This rate was $13,410 more than the median annual wage for all U.S. workers.\n\nCourt Reporters Median Annual Wages Chart May 2012\n\nThe report goes on to state that 10% of Court Reporters earned less than $24,790, while an additional 10% earned more than $90,530.
